Full Description
Areas of possible ridged and ditched cultivation within fields to the northeast of East Almer Farm, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features appear narrow and both linear and slightly curvilinear in form. They may be ridge and furrow cultivation of medieval to post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
