Full Description
Areas of broad ridged and ditched cultivation within a field to the west of Almer, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features may be medieval ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on available on Google Earth imagery.
