Summary
Two banked linear features to the south of Mapperton, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval origin. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Two banked linear features to the south of Mapperton, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features comprise two parallel curvilinear banks that divide a historic field on a SE-NW axis. They are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval origin. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
