Summary
Part of the Roman road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester between Little Almer Wood and the Mapperton road to the southwest. A 1km stretch of this road is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. It includes a section of the road recorded under MDO6151 and is also recorded as linear 198 (NRHE Hob UID 958209). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Part of the Roman road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester between Little Almer Wood and the Mapperton road to the southwest. A 1km stretch of this road is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1].
