Full Description
Part of the Roman road from Badbury Rings to Dorchester between Little Almer Wood and the Mapperton road to the southwest. A 1km stretch of this road is visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. It includes a section of the road recorded under MDO6151 and is also recorded as linear 198 (NRHE Hob UID 958209). The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
