Full Description
Several small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of the River Winterborne at Winterborne Muston <1>. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits but a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The features cover an area of 1.4 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
