Full Description
Banked linear features to the southwest of Round House Plantation, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features are regular and narrow in form and are considered likely to be post medieval field boundaries. They appear to overlie potentially older (later prehistoric to possibly medieval?) field boundaries on a different alignment, visible on Environment Agency lidar imagery and recorded under MDO46533. the features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are still visible as cropmarks on 2005 Google Earth imagery.
