Three large hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery centrally within the parish of Anderson to the south of Great Coll Wood. One of the features is marked as an unanotated hollow on the OS 3rd Edition map; they are all considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Three large hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery centrally within the parish of Anderson to the south of Great Coll Wood <1>. One of the features is marked as an unanotated hollow on the OS 3rd Edition map <2>; they are all considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
