A post medieval quarry to the northeast of Stag Gate, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is recorded as 'old quarry' on the OS 1st Edition map [2]. it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
