Full Description
Two post medieval extractive pits to the north of Stag Gate, Sturminster Marshall, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are most likely chalk or gravel pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
