Summary

Five hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in a modern field to the north of West Withy Beds, Winterborne Zelston. The larger two are marked as unanotated hollows on the OS 2nd Edition map. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Five hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in a modern field to the north of West Withy Beds, Winterborne Zelston <1>. The larger two are marked as unanotated hollows on the OS 2nd Edition map <2>. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
