Full Description
A post medieval quarry to the northeast of Stag Gate Wood, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded as 'old quarry' on the OS 1st Edition map. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
