Full Description
A possible post medieval extractive pit to the southwest of Combe Farm, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The feature is shown filled with trees on historic maps and on current APGB imagery [2] but is considered to possibly be an old chalk pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
