Summary
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Muston Down, Winterborne Kingston. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1979 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. A second smaller hollow is also visible 300m to the east on lidar imagery.

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Muston Down, Winterborne Kingston <1>. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1979 <2> and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. A second smaller hollow is also visible 300m to the east on lidar imagery <3>.
