Full Description
An extensive banked field system is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery stretching for over 2km from the western edge of the Parish of Anderson eastwards through Winterborne Zelston <1>. The field boundaries largely fit in with the extant field system and are therefore considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval date, although an earlier origin is possible. They cover an area of over 96 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
