Summary

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of medieval or post medieval origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to either side of the River Winterborne at Winterborne Muston. The features cover an area of over 10 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system extends eastwards into Andreson where it is described in MDO46583.

Full Description

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system of medieval or post medieval origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to either side of the River Winterborne at Winterborne Muston <1-2>. The features cover an area of over 10 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system extends eastwards into Andreson where it is described in MDO46583.
