Summary

Traces of an undated banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the in the north west corner of Bloxford Down. The features cover an area of over 41 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and west and is recorded further in records MDO46570-1 and MDO46273.

Traces of an undated banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the in the north west corner of Bloxford Down <1>. The features cover an area of over 41 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and west and is recorded further in records MDO46570-1 and MDO46273.
