Summary

Traces of an undated banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within and to the north of Hazel Coppice, Bere Regis. The features cover an area of over 56 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and east and is recorded further in records MDO46570 and MDO46272-3.

Traces of an undated banked field system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within and to the north of Hazel Coppice, Bere Regis <1>. The features cover an area of over 56 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Whilst undated, a prehistoric origin is possible. The field system extends to the north and east and is recorded further in records MDO46570 and MDO46272-3.
