Summary

The potential site of a large curvilinear mound enclosed by a ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 immediately to the north of Morden Lane, Bloxworth. The feature is 130m by 115m in size and a post medieval chalk pit is centrally located within it. The feature is of uncertain date and function and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

The potential site of a large curvilinear mound enclosed by a ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 <1> immediately to the north of Morden Lane, Bloxworth.
