Full Description
The potential site of a large curvilinear mound enclosed by a ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 <1> immediately to the north of Morden Lane, Bloxworth. The feature is 130m by 115m in size and a post medieval chalk pit is centrally located within it. The feature is of uncertain date and function and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
