Please read our .

Summary

Linear ditched and banked features to the northeast and southwest of Charborough House, Morden, are visible as earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to possibly be associated with a later prehistoric field system, although a later, perhaps medieval, origin for some of the field boundaries is also possible as some appear to conform/align with historic boundaries present on the OS 1st Edition map. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
