Summary

The remains of enclosures, field boundaries and an extensive pit cluster are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. They are located at the western end of the field system described in MDO5274 and are possibly the remains of an associated settlement. The site covers an area of over 10 hectares and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description

The remains of enclosures, field boundaries and pit cluster are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <1-3>. They are located at the western end of the field system described in MDO5274 and are possibly the remains of an associated settlement. The site covers an area of over 10 hectares and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
