Summary

A low earth mound, 25m across is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of the Roman road at Anderson. The feature is 25m across and is potentially the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, it was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description

The possible site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a very low earthwork on lidar imagery <1> in the southwest corner of the parish of Anderson. It comprises a low mound, 18m across and lies to the north of the barrow described in MDO7214. It was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
