Full Description
Banked linear features on Furze Hill, Morden, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and earthworks on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2, 3, 4]. The features are slightly curvilinear and create partial rectilinear enclosures. They appear to overlie broader banked linear features visible on lidar imagery that may be associated with a later prehistoric field system. The features are considered likely to be field boundaries and trackways of medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
