Full Description
A possible Bronze Age bowl barrow is visible as a faint ring ditch cropmark and earthworks on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency Lidar imagery [1-3]. The feature comprises a very low sub-circular mound approximatley 15m in diameter, visible on lidar imagery [3] and suggested on a 1940s aerial photograph [1]. A possible outer ditch is visible as a faint ring ditch cropmark on a 2001 aerial photograph [2].
The feature is situated within a larger barrow group and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
