Summary
Several hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery cutting into the deserted medieval settlement features to the east of West Farm, Winterborne Whiteschurch. They range in size from 5m to 28m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

Several hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery cutting into the deserted medieval settlement features to the east of West Farm, Winterborne Whiteschurch <1>. They range in size from 5m to 28m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
