Full Description
Nine hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the west of Sitterton Farm, Bere Regis <1-2>. They range from 18m to 64m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits, the group has since been separated by the Bere Regis By-pass.
