Summary

Eleven hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and on lidar imagery in fields to the south and west of Roke Farm, Bere Regis. They range from 14m to 40m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

Eleven hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and on lidar imagery in fields to the south and west of Roke Farm, Bere Regis <1-2>. They range from 14m to 40m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
