Full Description
Two hollows with an associated doughnut of spoil are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at the eastern end of Scent Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. The features cover an area of 0.38 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.
