Summary
Two hollows with an associated doughnut of spoil are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at the eastern end of Scent Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch. The features cover an area of 0.38 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.

Two hollows with an associated doughnut of spoil are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery at the eastern end of Scent Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. The features cover an area of 0.38 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.
