Three hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of the modern village of Winterborne Whitechurch. They range in size from 19m to 26m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.

Three hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of the modern village of Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. They range in size from 19m to 26m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.
