Summary

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Muddox Barrow Farm (now Skipple's Farm), Bere Regis. It is visible as a hollow, 26m across, on aerial photographs taken in 1971 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project, it is considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit.

An unannotated hollow is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Muddox Barrow Farm (now Skipple's Farm), Bere Regis <1>. It is visible as a hollow, 26m across, on aerial photographs taken in 1971 <2> and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project, it is considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit.
