Full Description
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the west of Bere Down Farm, Bere Regis. It is visible as a hollow, 66m across, on aerial photographs taken in 1976 (Boyden 1976) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
