Summary

Fragments of banked field boundaries are visible as earthworks aerial photographs to either side of the Roman Road at Bere Down, Bere Regis. The linears run approximately NE-SW and are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date. They cover an area of over 36 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Fragments of banked field boundaries are visible as earthworks aerial photographs to either side of the Roman Road at Bere Down, Bere Regis <1-4>. The linears run approximately NE-SW and are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date. They cover an area of over 36 hectares and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
