Summary

An elongated mound is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north east of Roke Road, Bere Regis. It is 65m by 20m in size and lies to the 230m to the north of a similar mound described in MDO46405. The feature is of uncertain date, it may be a post medieval pillow mound, a Neolithic long barrow, or part of a field boundary; it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

An elongated mound is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north east of Roke Road, Bere Regis (Environment Agency 2021). It is 65m by 20m in size and lies to the 230m to the north of a similar mound described in MDO46405. The feature is of uncertain date, it may be a post medieval pillow mound, a Neolithic long barrow, or part of a field boundary; it was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
