Full Description
An elongated mound is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the southwest of Roke Farm, Bere Regis <1-2>. It is 103m by 16m in size and cut into by a post medieval chalk pit. A narrow linear bank runs parallel with it on the eastern side. The feature is of uncertain date, it may be a post medieval pillow mound, a Neolithic long barrow, or part of the surrounding field system described in MDO46401. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
