Monument record MDO46396 - Medieval field system, Winterborne Whitechurch

Traces of a field system can be seen on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the west of West Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. The banked field system covers an area of over 23 hectares and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. Medieval ridge and furrow is visible within the field system and is described separately in MDO5329. The system may be a later prehistoric system reused in the medieval period.
