Summary

A sub circular mound is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 to the south of Skippels Farm, Bere Regis. It is of uncertain date, possibly of natural origin, although it may alternatively be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow. The feature was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description

The probable site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Bere Regis <1>. It lies immediately to the north of the barrow described in MDO7111 and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
