Summary

A linear bank and ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running roughly N-S to the north of Millum Head, Bere Regis. The feature curves slightly and runs between two oval barrows described in MDO46370-1. It is considered likely to be a trackway or field boundary of uncertain date and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

Full Description

A wide linear bank and ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs running roughly NW-SE to the north of Horse Close Planation, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. The feature has a sharp curve and recurve bend midway along its 200m length. It is considered likely to be a trackway or field boundary of uncertain date and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
