A small hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the southeast of Oatclose Wood, Winterborne Whitechurch. It is marked as a tree clump on the OS 1st Edition map and is considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A small hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the southeast of Oatclose Wood, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. It is marked as a tree clump on the OS 1st Edition map <2> and is considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
