Summary

Four small hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of the enclosure described in MDO46220. They are potentially associated prehistoric pits or may be later post medieval chalk pits. They are in fields to the south and southwest of Dolway Cottage, Winterborne Whitechurch. They are 5-8m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Four small hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of the enclosure described in MDO46220 <1>. They are potentially associated prehistoric pits or may be later post medieval chalk pits. They are in fields to the south and southwest of Dolway Cottage, Winterborne Whitechurch. They are 5-8m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
