Summary

Eight hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the northeast of Canada Farm, Winterborne Stickland. They range in size from 15 to 25m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Eight hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the northeast of Canada Farm, Winterborne Stickland <1>. They range in size from 15 to 25m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
