Summary

A World War II type 22 pillbox located alongside Bridging Camp entrance, Camp Road, Chickerell. It was constructed in 1940-41, is hexagonal in plan and is built of brick and concrete. A field visit in 1995 found that the roof had been removed and it had been partly demolished.
