Summary

The site of a Second World War military camp and storage depot is visible as extant structures on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1947 within Whatcombe Park, Winterborne Whitechurch. It comprised an extensive group 166 buildings and temporary storage structures to the west of Whatcombe Road. They have since been removed and demolished. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

The site of a Second World War military camp and storage depot is visible as extant structures on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1947 within Whatcombe Park, Winterborne Whitechurch <1-2>. It comprised an extensive group 166 buildings and temporary storage structures to the west of Whatcombe Road. They have since been removed and demolished. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
