Summary

A series of ditched enclosures and field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of The Clump, Winterborne Whitechurch. They are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date, possibly the site of a settlement. The features cover an area of over 11ha and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

A series of ditched enclosures and field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of The Clump, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. They are considered likely to be of Iron Age or Roman date, possibly the site of a settlement.
