Full Description

SY 58578787. A small circular enclosure is clearly visible on AP St J BJ/14 and also on AP CPE/UK/1824/3302. Set
within an Iron Age/Romano British field system and at the foot of a flinty lynchet on a N.W. facing slope is a circular banked depression. The depression is 12.0m. in diameter and has a bank 3.0m. wide and 0.5m. high on the lower N and NW sides. This bank lessons in height on the N.E. and E, and on the E. side is a break 1.5m. wide which may denote an entrance. The site appears to be a hut circle, presumably associated with the field system. <1>
