Fragments of a medieval strip field system are visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Chescombe Lane, Winterborne Whitechurch <1-2>. It covers an area of over 5ha and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project, it is now partially levelled.
