Summary

Fragments of a banked and ditched field system of possible later prehistoric date is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and low earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Winterborne Strickland village. It covers an area of over 129ha and extends to the south into record MDO46181. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

Fragments of a banked and ditched field system of possible later prehistoric date is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and low earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Winterborne Strickland village <1>. It covers an area of over 129ha and extends to the south in record MDO46181. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
