Full Description

At the cross roads, near the parish boundary are the fragments of a dilapidated village cross, about which little is known. <2>

The only visible remains of this cross consist of nine stones which appear to represent steps and packing, or foundation stones. Three stones have been cut to rectangular shape and form the south west angle of the steps. These are 0.3m wide, and from 0.7m to 1.3m long. They are at ground level. The other stones are of small size and irregular shapes and extend along the assumed south side of the pediment. <3>
