‘Unless otherwise described, the following cottages are single-storeyed with attics and have cob walls, thatched roofs and class-S plans. They date from late in the 18th to about the middle of the 19th century. … (38) Cottage (09890852), of two storeys with a slate-covered roof, was formerly of class S, but has lately been enlarged.’
