Summary
Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the west of Field Dairy Farm, Spetisbury. They are between range in size from 26m to 43m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The northern of the two is surrounded by a ring of spoil. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description
Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the west of Field Dairy Farm, Spetisbury <1>. They are between range in size from 26m to 43m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The northern of the two is surrounded by a ring of spoil. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
