Full Description

Two Bronze Age round barrows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and have been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. Each barrows is defined by a single circular ditch. The larger is 15.9m in diameter and the smaller is 13.5m in diameter. These barrows are associated with the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. <1>
