The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of possible medieval date. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

A curvilinear banked feature to the north of Himmon Copse Corfe Mullen, is visible as an earthwork on a 1947 aerial photograph and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of possible medieval date. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
